Purpose: This research was planned to evaluate the information levels of midwives and nurses with respect to primary prevention measures of breast cancer and to determine the influencing factors. Material and Method: This descriptive study was performed among the midwives and nurses working in a private hospital. The study sampling consists of 320 midwives and nurses working in a private hospital between the dates of 09.01.2017- 09.04.2017 who accepted to participate in the study. Prepared in the light of literature information, "Midwife and Nurse Information Form" and "Form on Information Level with respect to Primary Prevention Measures of Breast Cancer" were used in collecting the data. According to this, "Risk Factors" sub-dimension point distribution of midwives and nurses is the highest (9.24±1.48), and "Symptoms" sub-dimension point distribution is the lowest (5.92±0.89). Furthermore, I have identified that the awareness of midwives and nurses with respect to training requirements is highest in "Risk Factors".
