Tahric and evaluation of the hadiths in Ebussuud Efendi's work Irshād al-'aql al-salīm (Specific to surah Âli 'İmrān and an-Nisa)

In this study, takhrij and evaluation of the narrations in Ebussuûd Efendi's commentary named Irşâdü'l-ʿaḳli's-s-selim ila mezâya'l-Kitâbi'l-Kerîm were made. Ebussuûd Efendi is a great person who was a sheikh al-Islam during his lifetime, made a name for himself with his scientific studies and left his mark on his time with his fatwas. All his works, especially Irşâdü'l-ʿaḳli's-selim, have always been on the agenda of scholars. It has drawn our attention that he is one of the important scholars of our geography and that there is no historical study on Irşâdü'l-ʿaḳli's-selim. Therefore, this work II. The narrations in the chapters of Âl-i İmrân and Nisa in the volume of the book were evaluated. In the introduction, the importance, purpose and method of the research are explained, and Ebussuûd Efendi's life, scientific personality and works are examined. In the first part, the hadiths in Âl-i İmran, and in the second part, the hadiths in the Nisa Surah are analyzed and evaluated. In the general evaluation part, the hadiths were critiqued and the hadith usage method of Ebussuud Efendi was emphasized.
