The relationship between organizational happiness and teacher leadership in educational institutions

In this study, besides examining the relationship between organizational happiness and teacher leadership, it was aimed to examine organizational happiness and teacher leadership according to teachers' demographic characteristics. The study was conducted in relational screening model. The sample of the study consists of 385 participants selected by the convenience sampling method from the teachers working in the province of Istanbul. In the study, data were collected using a questionnaire including the Teacher Organizational Happiness Scale and the Teacher Leadership Scale, as well as socio-demographic questions. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using the SPSS v26 program. Frequency analysis, validity analysis, reliability analysis, normal distribution analysis, correlation analysis, t-test and ANOVA analyzes were performed in the study. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that teachers with more professional seniority had higher teacher leadership levels than less experienced teachers. Apart from this, it was seen that organizational happiness and teacher leadership did not differ significantly according to other demographic variables examined in the study. On the other hand, it was determined that there was a positive and significant relationship between organizational happiness and teacher leadership.
