Islamic sects in Andalusia

In this research, the entrance of Islamic sects to Andalusia, which has an important place in terms of Islamic culture and civilization, the expansion activities in the region, the political and theological projections are examined in the light of historical data. Since the conquest of Andalusia, both fiqh, political and theological sects have moved to the region. The sects interacting with the unique structure of Andalusia have entered the process of differentiation and change as well as preserving their main elements in the region. In Andalusia, religious understandings and ethnic diversity had a significant impact on the determination of power. As a result of this situation, five periods with different management understandings have emerged in the history of Andalusia. Within this variable structure of Andalusia, Malikism has become the main sect by making its influence and power felt in almost all periods. Other sects that had the opportunity to be represented in Andalusia were constantly affected by this situation and were able to develop and change in accordance with this religious structure. The research, which consists of three parts, examines the political history of Andalusia in the first part, the fiqh sects in the second part, and the creed sects in the third part.
