Investigation On The Relationship Between Communications And Problem Solving Skills In Adolescents And Evaluating In The Social Service Plan Analyzing the relationship between communication and problem solving skills of adolescents and evaluating this relationship at school social service level. This study aims to analyze the relationship between communication skills and problem solving skills of adolescents and to evaluate this relationship at school social service level. The study was conducted on 600 adolescents in 6 high schools in Yenimahalle district of Ankara in the 2017-2018 academic year. The research was designed in the relational screening model of quantitative research models. Personal information form "Communication Skills Inventory' and 'Problem Solving Skills Scale' was used as data collection tool. According to the results of the study, a statistically significant relationship between students' communication skills and problem solving skills exists (r = 0,417; p <0,05) i.e. adolescents with high communication skills have high problem solving skills. Also in this study, the findings related to the social economic characteristics of adolescents (class, gender, age, number of siblings, parental status, parental education, family economic status etc.) are reported and discussed. In this study made in this context, it was studied 362 female students with 60.3% and 238 male students with 39.7%. According to the results of the study, communication skills do not show a statistically significant difference according to gender. According to the results of the study, problem solving do not show a statistically significant difference according to gender. ix It was thought that communication skills and problem solving skills in adolescents who participated in the research would have a significant difference by age. According to the results of the analysis, problem solving skills vary according to age and the students in the age group of 14 have the highest problem solving skills. According to the results of this study, the difference between the 14 age group and the 17 and older age group is significant. As a result of the study, the findings of family relations, friendships and academic achievements of adolescents were discussed at the same time. Findings and discussions about the scores of İBDÖ and PÇE of adolescents participating in the study were included. Correlation test results obtained from communication skills and problem solving skills are included. As a result of the study, a number of suggestions were presented considering the need of adolescents to develop communication skills and to implement school social services in problem solving. In order to increase the communication skills levels of adolescents, it may be beneficial to practice social services effectively with groups. The social environment of students with low problem solving levels can be examined and group work can be done with these students. Developing problem-solving skills, constructive and supportive, creative, innovative attitudes, methods can be used. Specifically, training programs to develop problem solving skills of individuals can be prepared. The findings were discussed and interpreted in the light of the literature in a way to guide the future researches.
