From ethics oriented politics to power oriented politics in 21st century: A discussion on introducing Dyadic Power Theory approach to political thought

Politics has been moralized since modern societies took place in the relations of power. Thus, it has become impossible to think politics without ethics or moral that limit our perspective towards it. However, the power is the missing point in the most of social science analysis. Its nature is so different that the will to power helps people to overpass material conditions. The willingness to power can be classified a kind of materialism as much as spiritualism. The point is that Foucauldian relations of power or Nietzschean will to power cannot be reduced to regular philosophical school. Indeed, they are the base of an alternative school in philosophy that we named it power first approach in politics. Ethics is a power technic that castrates people will to power by re-producing them as moral subject. Thus, ethics is tasked to fix fluidity of power here. How the process of subjectivation of people is going on also an important part of this research. Dyadic Power Theory is also studied because of its originality to re-think of power outside of social and ethical norms. Furthermore, the intensification of relations of power made us see the psychological character of power that reduce ethics role in politics. Thus, it is necessary to re- think of every social form from the power perspective and to initiate a debate over a post-society concept. This thesis consists of review of western political philosophy, it is a theoretical study at the basis of descriptive analysis.
