Critical discourse analysis on Evliya Çelebi's Book of Travels (Seyahatname)

In this study, the method of critical discourse analysis is discussed in the titles. Each chapter emphasized what was discussed. The travelogue was then discussed under each heading and rated under separate subheadings and based on the author's interpretation of the style. Sample selection took the form of selecting sentences that reflected this trait in some part of the work. Evliyâ Çelebi, who directly wrote the own sentences of important people in the stories he told, can bring the epoch and personalities alive in the reader's memory. With the direct speech transmissions, in which the narrator sincerely preserves the original syntax and word structure of the speaker, both the readability of the work increases, the work is freed from monotony, and the existing historical events can be presented to the reader without comment. In addition, the word transmissions used by Evliyâ Çelebi show that his view of Bektashism is positive and allows the events to be conveyed through the centuries without interpretation.
