Thematic uses in Göksel Altınışık Ergur's stories

Göksel Altınışık Ergur is one of today's artists, publishing primarily her short stories and poems individually and collectively. In her story, the author describes her daily life and individual circumstances. In this context, we find that their story follows a classic and contemporary line. Objective reality is the basis of event-centric narrative, while psychological analysis is central to works that reflect the inner side of the individual. In addition to the psychological aspects, the individual and his social position also appear in the work. With all this in mind, the story has the characteristics of different approaches. Narrative fiction is often intertwined with real life. The general use stands out in its fictitious structure. Despite the structural similarities, the differences in subject matter make up the original aspect of the work. In fact, the themes used add depth and variety to the meaning of the work, either alone or in relation to each other. The fact that the author is a doctor, her interest in various disciplines, her training in literature, music and sociology contributes to the variety of structures and subjects in her work. Although her author has many professional works, she has a total of five short stories and two volumes of poetry in the field of literature. The purpose of this study is to examine and explain the story of Göksel Altınışık Ergur thematically. The description method was chosen as the method, and the text-centric approach was chosen during the analysis phase. As a result of the research, Ergur's work identified thirteen major themes that were directly or indirectly interrelated. Of the above themes, the most commonly used themes have been found to produce fiction such as women, love, hope and illness.
