The effect of mathematic teaching with group activities to the mathematic achievements and the attitude of mathematic.

The aim of these study is to establish of the effect of mathematic teaching with group activities to mathematic achievements and the attitude of mathematics. The research has been prepared according to first test-last test model with control group from trying models. This implementation was carried out at The Kadıköy 30 August Secondary School in 2012-2013 first term. The school of branch 7/A & 7/B was objectively determined with draw method as 7/A classroom is experiment group and 7/B classroom is control group. Mathematic achievement test and mathematic attitude scale was used to collect the data. Mathematic achievement test and mathematic attitude scale were presented to experiment and control groups as first test before the research was not implemented. The Groups were analyzed according to year end school report notes. The research was made 60 total students as 30 students in each groups. These activities were done with experiment group during 8 weeks as the way that: 1. from sum to multiplication, 2. questions of frog in well, 3.numerical axis, 4. difference run of rational number, 5. 3 rational number, 6. three line, 7. congruent and supplement angle, 8. Angle calculation.Control Group was continued with teaching program activities, too. The attitude of mathematic and mathematic achievements test was implemented as last test. Dependent samples T-Test was implemented for analyzing of the data in the situation of each groups in SPSS, Independent samples T-Test was implemented for analyzing of the data between these groups ,and the significance is 0,05 between the groups. The experimental groups with group activities have been positive development to attitude of mathematic and mathematic achievement at the end of research. The mathematic achievement and the attitude to mathematic of experimental group have been stated to not have any significant change statistically.Key Words: Mathematic, Attitude, Academic achievements, Traditional approach, Constructive approach
