Hakim's work named Serh-i Divan-i Sevket (Observation-comparative text)

In this study, it is aimed that Şevket-i Bukhari, one of the important representatives of Sebk-i Hindi, it was prepared as a comparative text of commentary taken by the Hakim (Seyyid Mehmed Efendi) of the18th century vakanuvis and poet, tried to evaluate the information detected from the work which holding light to period of Hakim and history. It is seen that there is no work on the commentaries made to Divan of Şevket-i Bukhari, except Şevket-i Bukhari Divan's commentary made by Mullah Murad. The commentary belonging to Mullah Murad contains only the shout of the three chords of Şevket-i Bukhari. Our work has the whole Divan of Şevket. In the studies on Divan of Şevket, it is seen that the text of divan is written in the Persian alphabet and not expressed in translation. Therefore, for the first time with this work, the entire text of the Divan of Şevket-i Bukhari was presented to the reader in addition to the Persian alphabet as well as the translation. Because the work is a commentary, it includes both Divan of Şevket-i Bukhari and Hakim's commentary. Hakim, who seems to have made comparisons at times when he was explaining the text of Şevket-i Bukhari, sometimes included some couplets or poems that were not in Divan of Şevket-i Bukhari and pointed to the draft which evaluated the different copies and was likely to be correct.The fact that Hakim sent his own poems during the commentary is important in terms of acquiring some texts that are not in Divan of Hakim. In this respect, we hope that the Hakim's book, Şerh-i Divan-ı Şevket, will provide two-sided benefits to the scientific world. After the important studies on Divan and Tarih, this study will evaluate the commentator identity of Hakim, which is a different aspect.
