Abstract (EN)

For effective implementation of blended learning which integrates best parts of face-to-face and on-line learning environments, various blended learning platforms are in use. However, there is a lack of studies about scales for the learners' perceived interaction level which blended learning offers, in other words, interaction value of blended learning environments. Therefore, this study deals with developing a scale for interaction value of blended learning environments according to preservice teachers. With the help of literature records and experts' opinions, draft scale with 36 item was administered 266 Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology students after initial implementation. After exploratory factor analysis, 27-item scale included four factors as Effort Expectancy, Behavioral Intention, Social Influence, Performance Expectancy. Cronbach's alfa coefficient of internal consistency was found as 0.97. Statistical analysis resuts proved that the Scale for Acceptance and Use of Blended Learning Platforms (SAUBL) is a valid and reliable scale. It is considered that SAUBL can be usable and useful for the researchers and practitioners who are interested in blended and/or distance learning and teaching practices.
