Abstract (EN)
The Ibadiyya sect, which emerged after the fitna period and is known as the closest sect of the Kharijites to the Ahl as-sunnat, has not been studied in detail due to its physical distance and differences in thought. In the studies made in the Islamic world, the theological dimension of the aforementioned sect has been the research subject; however, fiqh/practical dimension has not been adequately researched. However, in the Ibadiyya sect, there is a substantial literature on jurisprudence. The formation of this literature, with the founding imam of the sect, Jabir b. Zayd (93), started in the early periods of Islamic history. Sect; since it continues to exist in different parts of today's Islamic geography such as Oman, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Zengibar, the formation of literature has continued until today and still continues. Due to the lack of research mentioned above, in this study, first of all, information about Oman, which is the current representative of the sect, and about the birth of the Ibadiyya sect and its creed views are given. Afterwards, information about Ibadi fiqh is given. In this context, first of all, the founding names of Ibadi fiqh, the understanding of the sect's fiqh method and different views of furu were discussed. In the following section, the stages of the fiqh dimension of the Ibadiyya sect in the historical process, the Ibadi scholars who lived in every century and the fiqh works written by them were tried to be determined. By this method, both information about the Ibadi fiqh literature was obtained and the history of fiqh of the sect was examined, and the formation process of Ibadi fiqh and the situations that were effective in this process were tried to be revealed.
