Abstract (EN)
Throughout the history of the hadith, it is known that narrators of Muhammad (PBUH) made maximum efforts in narrating the information. However, it is inevitable that some changes will occur in the narrations due to the fact that those who transmit the information and those that are transferred to them are human beings. Many of these changes in the narrations have been described by the narrators of Muhammad (PBUH) in the books of Hadith. However, there are some concepts which have not been defined in the hadith method literature, although it is widely used by the narrators of Muhammad (PBUH). The concept of modifications is one of them. In this study, the definition of modification concept is tried to be determined by examining the usages of Ibn Hajar al-Asgalani (d. 852/1449) in his work called Fath al-Bari. Keywords: Modification, Narrative Modification, Writer Modification, Scribe Modification, Ibn Hajar, Fath al-Bari.
