Ibn Abu Ya'la's life and views of faith

Since the necessity of knowing Allah (marifetullah), which is the purpose of man's creation, is a matter revealed in the Qur'an, creed books have been put forward by all Islamic sects in accordance with their own principles in order to introduce Allah. Ahl al-Sunnah, which is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah, has produced many works to protect the principles of belief with these sources. As an Islamic scholar who lived in the 5th century Hijri, Ibn Abu Ya'la also wrote various works on this subject. In this study, his views on theological issues were examined in comparison with other theological views.
