Ibn al-Muqaffa, his works and place in Arabic literature

This study is about the life, works and place of Ibnu'l-Mukaffa in Arabic literature, who translated Kelile and Dimna from Pahlavi to Arabic. The aim of the study is to introduce the copyright and translation works of Ibnu'l-Mukaffa and to determine his contribution to Arabic literature. This study consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction part, the necessity of getting to know Ibnu'l-Mukaffa, his contributions to Arabic-Islamic literature in general, especially the innovations he brought to prose in Arabic literature, and his place in Arabic literature are mentioned. In the first chapter, introductory information about Ibnu'l-Mukaffa's life such as his birth place and date, the environment he grew up in, the scientific ecole and circles he was influenced by, his teachers and students were tried to be given. In this section, the aforementioned author's own pen and his translation works, one of the most important subjects of the study, are mentioned, and whether these works have survived to the present day, how many pages they consist of, their contents and their contribution and influence to Arabic Literature are examined in this section. The second chapter is about Ibnu'l-Mukaffa's contributions to Arabic Literature in general, as well as the place and importance of these contributions in Arabic Literature.
