Abstract (EN)

Igor Stravinsky with his rhythmic, melodic and harmonic innovations is one of the most important composers of 20th century music. This period is as a process of going beyond traditional patterns and the thought of searching for new is the primary matter in music as in other arts. In 20th century, music exhibits a radical change in its melodic and tonal structure, presence of new timbres and dissonant sounds. However, many composers along with these changes also have created works composed with the synthesis of present and past music. This new style defined as ?neo-classical? represents an important period in Stravinsky?s musical life. In this study, the neo-classical period of Stravinsky and two of the compositions composed within this period, ?Serenade in A? for solo piano and ?Concerto for Piano and Winds? are analyzed.
