Abstract (EN)
In the process that started with Hülegü's assignment to Asia Minor, Khorasan had become an Ilkhanid land. This process also meant a change in the administrative status of Khorasan. Because Khorasan was no longer a common land for all Mongolian nations. The Ilkhanid State had established its organizational administration in this geography, which it had acquired through the princes with a centralist attitude. This tradition had continued by all the Ilkhanid rulers who ascended the throne. Khorasan, where six shahzadah were assigned, became a critical geography where internal and external events occurred during the Ilkhanate period. Ilkhanids struggled to exist in the region against the rebellions of some mixed Mongolian groups and politicians working in the bureaucracy, especially the Chagatays, who claimed rights in the area. In this context, this study discussed the region's political, economic, cultural, religious, and mystical change and transformation process under the Ilkhanid administration, which lasted for about eighty years. Keywords: Middle Ages, Iran, Mongols, Ilkhanid State, Khorasan.
