The relationship between learning styles and of the perceptions for problem solving students of primary

The aim of this research is to reveal the relationship between primary school students' learning styles and problem-solving skills. In addition, it is examined whether there is a significant difference between primary school students according to the variables of gender, age, school type, getting education in BİLSEM. The sample of the research consists of 673 third and fourth grade students studying in a total of six primary schools in the provinces of Aydın, Efeler, Söke and Kuşadası in the 2021-2022 academic year. The data of the research has been collected with "Problem Solving Inventory for Children", "Marmara Learning Style Scale" and "Personal Information Form". Reliability analyzes of the scales used in the research were carried out. Skewness and kurtosis were examined for normal distribution. Since normal distribution wasprovided, t-test and Pearson correlation analysis were performed for independent samples. Analyzes were carried out via IBM SPSS 25 program. As a result of the research, a moderately positive and significant relationship was found between the learning styles of primary school students and their total points of problem-solving skills. Significant differences were determined according to the learning styles of the students, gender, school type, grade level, and education status at BİLSEM. While there was no significant difference in the problem-solving skills of the students in terms of gender, school type, and education status at BİLSEM, it was found that there was a significant difference according to the grade level variable.
