The magazine of poetry registered in the Atatürklibrary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality undernumber bel_yz_k1589

Classic Turkish Literature is the important part of Turkish Literature. It carries political, cultural, social, religious signs of the term when was composed literal works. Journals having anthological features give information about literal features of the term too. The work, subjected to our study, is poem journal registered at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Ataturk Library with number Bel-Yz-K1589. The Journal consists of 71 folios. At Instruction Part of by Thesis, it was given information about the journal and classification of the Journal. At the Second Part, features of the Journal were determined and they were viewed. The Journal includes poems of poet, lived in XVIII. Century. Biographies of poets taken place in the text were presented shortly. Ode and eulogium from poetry types written as couplets in the Journal, were mainly used. As well as odes and eulogiums, there are also several poems written in different poetry types such as pentastarch, tahmis, museddes, muasser, terkib-ibent. There were given place to poetry types, aruz prosodies and MESTAP tables. At the Third Part, there is transcribed text of the Poem Journal. Text critics were made by comparing poem of poets in the Journal and Ottoman Poems. There are differences in number of couplets, couplet orders and words at the Poems distinctly from Ottoman Poems. These differences were shown as footnotes.
