Abstract (EN)

Provide the organizational commitment of the employees is an important fact in order to adapt to the competitive environment of hospitals and to provide high quality of health services. This study aims to explain the relationship between impression management and performance appraisal with organizational commitment. It is expected that the organizational commitment of the employees will increase as long as the feedback is done in the performance evaluation of the hospitals. The determination of the duties of people in the workplace in a precise manner, performance evaluations on a regular basis, all evaluations are performed in an equitable manner and an objective control system is established directly affects the emotional belonging of all employees to the institution. Seven-point Likert method was used as data collection method. The sample of the study consisted of 345 employees working in private hospitals. As a data collection tool, the performance evaluation system was used to measure impression management tactics and organizational commitment. The obtained data were analyzed and interpreted and the study was completed. The data obtained in the study were evaluated and interpreted using reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation and regression analysis.The results show that performance appraisal affects organizational commitment directly and positively. Within this framework, various suggestions have been made to managers and academicians.
