Kasani and analysis of Bedaiu's-Sanai' in terms of hadith sciences

Kasani (d.587/1191) was born in the Turkestan region and completed his life in Konya and Aleppo, and is one of the important jurists of the Hanafi sect. One of the important sources of the Bedai'u's-Sanai' fi Tertibi'ş-Şerai' sect that he wrote. Our study has been prepared on the basis of this work of Kasani. With our study titled 'Kasani ve Bedaiu's-Sanai', it is aimed to examine Kasani's approach to hadiths and to contribute to the Hanafis' understanding of hadith by revealing the value of the work in terms of hadith science. Our research consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction part, the aim and importance of the research, its method and sources are emphasized. In the first part of our study, information about Kasani's life and scientific personality is given. Here, the history, social situation, scientific and cultural developments of Turkistan, Konya and Aleppo where Kasani lived are mentioned, and Kasani's place in the science of hadith is discussed. In addition, the hadith terms he used in his work were included, his view of the haber-i-wahids was examined, and finally, the hadith sciences that Kasani benefited from were mentioned. In the second part, the contradictory hadiths and solutions that Kasani narrated in Bedâi were examined. As a result, it has been determined that the number of hadiths narrated by Kasani in Bedai has approached two thousand, and it has been observed that these narrations generally do not depart from the Hanafi sect in taking evidence.
