Poerty journals from classical Turkish literature sources Mecmûa-i Eş'âr: SK. Hacı Mahmud Efendi, 5214

The subject of this study is 5214 numbered poetry mecmua in the collection of Hacı Mahmut Efendi in the library of Süleymaniye. The characteristic of the mecmua we have examined with comparative method is being a nazire journal. Poetry and nazire mecmuas are resource for the history of literature and contribute to the understanding of the aesthetic pleasures of the poets also the tradition of poetry with the bonds between poets who are in demand in the period. This journal consists of 53 page. The part where the poems are found is 43 page.Transcribed version of the pages between 1b to 42a was given and the version compared to the emitted ottoman poems divan and other works of the mentioned poets in this journal and remarked in the footnote. In this way poems not found in divans and poets who are not mentioned in tezkires have been identified. Some information is also shown on the graphs to make it easier for the readers accessing the poets. Graphical data were obtained from the table is about the contents of the poems and various formed poems and nazires. There are 204 gazel, 2 müseddes, 2 murabba, 4 muhammes, 24 kıta, 15 rubai, 30 müfret, 18 beyit,, and 4 tarih in the journal of 85 poets. The author of the journal is uncertain. Considering the arrangement of the poems and orthography of the editor, it is understood that the magazine was arranged in the 19th century and the journal is composed of a clean copy and a manuscript.
