Abstract (EN)

The witch has an important place in the classical Turkish poetry tradition. 13-20 in our study. The frequency and areas of use of the witch in classical Turkish poetry were tried to be determined with the examples obtained from 184 divans and 30 mesnevi belonging to the centuries. The place of the witch, which is an intercultural element, in cultural history has been determined. Witch's place in Western culture and Eastern culture has been compared. In Turkish culture, the witch is evaluated as a separate title and the similarities and differences between the cultures of the witch are tried to be determined. The frequency of usage of the elements that have meaning with witch and witch in classical Turkish poetry and so on. The classification of the examples obtained from the divans and mesnevis about the subjects was made In order to comprehend the classical Turkish poetry and the world of meaning of the poets, the characteristics of the witch and its place in the world of classical Turkish poetry simile and metaphor were tried to be determined.
