Abstract (EN)

At present, the information age, it has become mandatory for individuals to be trained as individuals who discover information and can access new information with the information they discover, not as information storekeepers in educational and training activities. Individuals must be actively involved in educational activities in order for their permanent learning to be realized. From the point of view of religious education, the guidance of the Qur'an is needed to determine the methods of education and training that will be carried out in order to educate individuals with thinking skills. In religious education, critical thinking skills and education in the Qur'an are the main subject of this research in order to educate individuals who question, investigate, and try to achieve accurate information. Literature review is used as a model in the research. The data obtained by the screening model, the document analysis method, the examination of concepts, critical thinking in Islam, the critical thinking method of the Qur'an and the extent to which these methods are used in religious education are discussed today. Thinking skills contained in the Qur'an and religious education resources are addressed by conducting qualitative content analysis. The importance of using critical thinking skills in religious education activities is presented, and the curriculum of the course of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge of Secondary Education is evaluated in terms of these methods. As a result of this review, it is seen that there are deficiencies in the point of critical thinking training methods in the Secondary Education RCMK curriculum. As a result of the research conducted, it is revealed that the ability to think critically, to be actively involved in the process of teaching religion, is indispensable for both educators and students. It is emphasized that a religious education that develops critical thinking skills should be aimed at every class and level in every course.
