An overview of the Kawnî verses dealt with in the tafsir of Qur'an yolu in the framework of scientific approaches

The Qur'an is a universal book that was sent down to all ages, not to one age. That's why it has attracted attention and has been the subject of research since the era it was revealed. The science of tafsir that comes to mind first among the sciences that center the Qur'anic studies. The science of tafsir, with its most basic framework, is an effort to understand the Qur'an within certain rules. This science has been divided into sub-disciplines over time. One of the newest of these sub-disciplines is scientific or scientific interpretation. This sub-discipline can be expressed as an effort to interpret the verses of the Qur'an that contain information about the realm of existence, with the help of scientific laws. The Qur'an, whose main purpose is guidance, also includes many subjects such as the universe, human beings, other living things and natural events. The kevnî verses of the Qur'an, which talk about the field of existence, have been given different interpretations in the commentaries of current commentators, and different interpretations in the interpretations of ancient commentators. In our study, we will include the efforts of many scholars such as Ateş, Kırca, Yeniçeri, Taslaman to make sense of the literal verses and how these verses are handled in the Kur'an Yolu Tefsir, based on this axis. We believe that determining the line in which this tafsir takes place at the point of scientific tafsir will shed light on a missing point in the field by examining how the literal verses are interpreted in the tafsir of the Qur'an, which was written after scientific tafsir became a sub-discipline.
