Abstract (EN)
In the study, it was aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between high school teachers' perceptions of leader support, development culture and quality of life. In addition to this aim, it was also aimed to determine whether there is a significant difference in terms of leadership support, development culture and quality of life perception levels of high school teachers, their professional seniority, educational status, location of the school, type of school where they work. In line with the aims of the research, the relational scanning model was preferred as a method. The universe of the research consists of 3907 high school teachers working in public and private high schools in the province of Malatya and its districts in the 2019-2020 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 1181 high school teachers determined by the "Disproportionate Cluster Sampling" method. A data set consisting of four parts was used in the study. In the first part of the data set, the "Personal Information Form" containing the demographic information of high school teachers participating in the study; The second part includes the "Leadership Support Scale", the third part the "Development Culture Scale", and the fourth part the "Quality of Work Life Scale". The research data collected with the mentioned data collection tools were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods as well as Independent Samples t-Test, One-Way Analysis of Variance, Pearson Correlation and Simple Linear Regression Analysis, since they show normal distribution. As a result of the research, it was determined that high school teachers' perceptions of leader support, development culture and quality of life were high. In addition, it was determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between high school teachers' leadership support and their perceptions of development culture and quality of life. In addition, it was determined that high school teachers' perceptions of leader support significantly predicted thekir perceptions of quality of life and development culture. According to the results obtained in the study, it was determined that leader support increases teachers' perceptions of development culture and quality of life. In this context, it can be suggested that in order to ensure that teachers' perceptions of development culture and quality of life reach the desired levels, education administrators in schools should increase their actions required by leadership support behaviors.
