Abstract (EN)
A historian, a poet, a statesmen- Mohammed Mirza Haidar (1499-1551) holds an important place in the history, literature and cultures of people of the Central Asia. Mirza Haidar is author of the classical historical composition "Tarih-i Rashidi", written in the Persian language. However until now another work "Zhihan name", written by Mirza Haidar in 1529-1533 in Chagatay language, has remained insufficiently known. This text which written in Classical Chagatai Period is most important for studies on the Turkish language. İn the work, the text written in Arabic letters was deciphred into Latin letters via transcription method. By means of the philological data gained from the deciphred text, the language of manuscript is studied; its orthographical, phonological and morphological structure is eluciated; and the vocabulary of the text is provided in alphabetical order. As a result of the research, this work which features Classical Chagatai Language, has provided a contribution to the development of Turcology studies. Key words: Mirza Haidar, Zhihan name, Chagatai.
