Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to examine the language and articulation abilities of children with one and more risk factors in the 6,0 -7,11 age group who passed the school age Hearing Screening Test. The study was conducted on 50 children in Kocaeli who passed the school age Hearing Screening Test in the first grade of Primary School, 25 of whom had one risk factor and 25 of whom had more than one risk factor. Turkish school age language development test (TODIL) and Ankara articulation test (AAT) tests were applied to the children in the research group.Children with multiple risk factors as a result of research the only risk factor compared to kids who are in todil test all sub-tests (organizing, listening, grammar, speaking, semantics and spoken language) scores were statistically significantly lower (P<0.05). Similarly, the standard scores of children with multiple risk factors were statistically significantly lower than the standard scores of children with single risk factors (p<0.05).
