Examination of burnout level of middle school teachers who are studying in music

In this study, middle school teachers who are working in music aimed to investigate the burnout level . In this context, working in various districts of Istanbul European Side by applying the Maslach Burnout Inventory 294 music teachers , teachers' emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal relationship with demographic characteristics of failure scores were investigated. According to the results of teacher gender , level of education , entered the weekly class hours , there was no significant difference between burnout dimensions compared to the love of the profession and the average number of students in the class teacher status (p> 0.05). According to the age of the teachers emotional exhaustion and depersonalization scores observed a significant difference between (p < 0.05) , there was no significant difference between personal accomplishment scores (p > 0.05). According to the marital status of teachers has seen a significant difference between emotional exhaustion scores (p < 0.05) , depersonalization, and personal accomplishment scores were observed between the significant difference (p> 0.05). Duration of study is based on emotional exhaustion and depersonalization scores showed a significant difference (p <0.05 ), and a personal failure did not show a significant difference (p> 0.05). Emotional exhaustion dimension of the tasks performed by the number of schools have shown significant differences (p <0.05 ) , there were no significant differences between the other burnout dimensions ( p> 0.05) . According to the correlation analysis results of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization dimensions and age, showed a positive and significant relationship according to the number of students in both classes.
