Abstract (EN)

Autism as a concept was first defined and explained by the American psychiatrist Leo Kanner in 1943. Although autism is a neurodevelopmental damage, including behavioral characteristics, it can occur in verbal communicative disorders, in social areas that require mutual interaction, and with the effect of stereotypical behaviors. (Kanner, 1943). Children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder are generally seen as a source of stress in the family. However, it has been observed that other family members' mutual relations and other factors that can affect the family (for example, marital quality, family harmony, parental stress, sibling relationship) can affect the child's behavior and the ability to cope with the difficulties faced by the family. Feelings; behavioral, mental and mental and stimuli are responses to an environmental stimulus. (Turnbull et al. 2006). Before individuals create an emotional reaction or response to any event they encounter, some mental elements form cognitive elements before they react emotionally to any situation they encounter (Onat & Otrar, 2010).
