Radi al-din al-Saghani and the assessment of work called al-Durr al-Multakat

Saghanî compiled that the narrations were stated as mawdu in al-Qudai's work named al-Shihab and al-Iqlishi's work named al-Najm, common mawdu narrations in public, all the names of books composed of mawdu narrations and the first narrations of these books in his work named Dürrü'l-mültekat. He also pointed out the names of some people who were famous for fabricating hadith. Sagânî was criticized by the scholars due to the fact that he gave the mawdu status to sahih, hasen and weak narrations. Al-Iraqi has expressed his objection with his rebuttal. In this study, the narrations were evaluated in regards to objections against Saghani's detections. The main reasons and accuracies of Saghani's provision were determinated by the comparative method.
