Abstract (EN)
Refik Halid Karay, one of the humour masters in Turkish literature, is a writer who stands out with his dissidence. Such a dissident spirit is the most important source nurturing him in terms of his literary and journalist identity. It is possible to see this attitude of the artist in newspaper articles. In this study, Peyam-Sabah newspaper, in which Refik Khalid demonstrated his dissedence apparently, was used as source. The articles of the author published in the Peyam-Sabah newspaper between 1920-1921 were classified and examined and the richness in Halid's world of thought and his humorous approach were revealed through the example of Peyam-Sabah.
