Abstract (EN)
The claim that physical violence can be applied to women, which we see in malefemale relations, has been associated with Islam and has created an important area of discussion. The idea that violence originates from religious culture is not the truth. The idea that violence originates from religious culture does not reflect the truth. But it is clear that actions they take have no meaningful base. It is needed to show this with evidences in Sunnah and Quran. However, there is no evidence in the Qur'an or the Sunnah that those who resort to violence can show as a justification for themselves. In our opinion, this issue arises from the misinterpretation of the verse in the Qur'an and the misunderstanding of the provision of hadiths conveyed from the Prophet about this issue. It has been one of the important aspects of this issue that it is necessary to understand and analyze the expressions in the texts correctly and to live by analyzing them deeply and not to use a single expression in line with interests. Prophet's behavior to the women is a known issue. The Prophet cares about a man behavior having mercy and kindness to his spouse and says "The most beneficent person among you is the one who behaves best to their wives". These occurrences happening today, behavior against woman from humiliating and oppressive minded people are not fit for the Qur'an's origin and Sunnah's values. Violence and movements against women with various pretexts contrast with the practices of the Prophet.
