The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between burnout levels and cheating tendencies of individuals who are in a romantic relationship or married. In the study, it is aimed to examine the data of 147 participants between the ages of 18-65 who have a romantic relationship. Within the framework of the research, the participants will be reached through online questionnaires, and "Demographic Information Form", "Burnout Scale" and "Cheating Tendency Scale" questionnaires were applied to the participants who approved to participate in the study, within the online questionnaire pages containing the questionnaires. According to the findings obtained in the study, burnout and cheating tendency scores differ significantly according to the variables of income level and who they live with. It was found that the burnout and cheating tendency scores of the participants did not differ significantly in terms of gender, education level and duration of being together. In line with the correlation and regression findings, there is a positive and significant relationship between burnout and cheating tendency; It was concluded that the burnout levels of the participants significantly predicted the tendency to cheat. It is thought that the findings obtained in the study can contribute to the literature in terms of evaluating the factors related to infidelity that can be seen in romantic relationships and that the findings of this research can be supported by further studies.
