Seyit Ahmet Arvasi's views on religious education in the context of general education

Arvasi who is famous for his educator personality, original ideas, varies works, articles, idea writings, Turk-Islam ideal consciousness and his loyalty to national and moral culture is a very important idea man grown in republic period. Although he is known by his Turk-Islam consciousness, his real field is education. He advised all the teenagers in the schools that he worked, the religion of Islam, Turk-Islam ideal consciousness, scientific depth and creating a "national culture" which has a moral development far from foreign dependency. His sensitivity about education of religion is in the foreground of Arvasi's books and articles that he shaped his world of ideas according to the basic sources of the religion he believes. In this study, examination of religious education ideas within general education of Seyit Ahmet Arvasi who is famous for his ideas about social, cultural, political especially education and religious education is aimed. It is considered that Arvasi's ideas and suggestion swill contribute a lot to education and religious education with his ideas and suggestions enlightening our day.
