Turkish poets in the Suleymaniye Library Nafiz Pasha collection magazine no. 1514 (review-text)

This study consists of two parts. In the first chapter, information about the classification and value of the magazine which is registered in the Süleymaniye Library, Nâfiz Paşa Collection Number 1514 was given and the Turkish verse texts in the magazine were examined. In the second part, the description of the magazine and the text of the Ottoman Field poems were published. In the first part, after giving information about the definition and value of the magazine, the analyzes are presented in tables. In the second part, the copy differences were revealed by comparing with the previous studies, and the text was published with the transcription alphabet. In the mecmû'a, which has 292 folios in total, 642 poems from 81 poets belonging to the Ottoman field were identified. The high volume of the magazine makes it difficult to determine the limits of the study. For this reason, only Turkish poems were examined. Magazine is written and compiled by the 17th century Mevlevi poet Fasîh. However, texts written by other scribes besides Fasih are also available in the magazine. Apart from Turkish, there are also Arabic and Persian texts in the magazine. In the Magazine, texts other than Turkish and their authors are also mentioned in terms of presenting the indications about Fasih's worldview. The poets and their poems in the study belong to the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Based on the texts found in the magazine, the traces of Fasih's literary and social environment can be followed. Sabri, Fasîh Neşâtî and Nabî are the poets with the most poems in the magazine. In addition, an important contribution is made to our literary history in terms of reaching the poems of less well-known poets such as Nâzî, Bezmî, Kirâmî and Makâlî.
