Medical doctor Anton Chekhov's play texts to determine the medical elements

The point of attention in Chekhov's plays is that he emphasizes the psychological reflection of the diseases as well as the physical descriptions of the characters while processing the clinical course of diseases in their dialogues. It is aimed to bring a different perspective to the stage works of the directors and actors who will manage Chekhov's plays by approaching the diseases in a holistic way. Thus, this different perspective will enable actors and directors to stage their plays more realistically. Our research includes Anton Chekhov's medical identity, the stages of medical development in Russia and the world in his lifetime, and the reflection of the diagnoses and findings identified in the games on the characters. In the conclusion part, how and in what way Chekhov used the medical elements used in play texts were interpreted.
