Abstract (EN)
The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between burnout dimensions and organizational commitment dimensions of personnel working in an aluminum factory. This research was carried out as a descriptive and cross-sectional study. The population of the study, which operates in Çorlu Saray private capital has created personnel working at an aluminum factory. 180 employee surveys were distributed, but during the survey 34 employee data collection forms were incomplete and incorrectly filled, and sampling 146 (white and blue collar) were taken. A total of 53 questionnaires were administered in three parts, Personal Information Form, Maslach Burnout Inventory and Allen Meyer Organizational Commitment Scale. SPSS 21.0 package program was used for analysis of the data. The model of the study, hypotheses, assumptions, limitations, arithmetic mean, standard deviations, percentage distribution of variance explanations, factor analysis, validity and reliability analysis were done. Tukey's Test of Addivity, Basic Components Method and Varimax Rotation Method (Varimax with Kaiser Normalization techniques), KMO and Bartlett Sphericity Test were used. One Way Anova, independent sample T-test and regression analysis were performed. As a result of the research, it was determined that the general burnout levels of the participants were 2.71 and the middle level, and organizational commitment levels were at the middle level with 3.31. Participants were found to have the same level of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal achievement in men and women who did not differ according to gender and marital status, and were also married and at the same time they were at the same level. Emotional exhaustion was found to be at a higher level in the level of workers than in the administrative staff at the level of position, whereas the levels of desensitization and personal achievement did not differ according to position. It is seen that those who are 18-28 years old have a lower level of personal achievement than other age groups, where personal success varies according to age group. It was determined that the levels of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal success did not differ according to educational status, but showed emotional exhaustion differences according to seniority. It was found that the level of obligattory commitment of organizational commitment was higher in males than in females, while in marriages it was found that they had higher levels of obligatory commitment than the bachelors and in the other sub-dimensions they did not show differences according to gender and marital status. Obligatory commitment and normative commitment were found to be higher for workers than for administrative staff. It is also an expected result that the worker group has higher levels of compulsory loyalty compared to other levels of education in primary education. According to the organizational commitment, the difference was not significant among the groups. When the relationships between the groups were examined, it was determined that there was a relationship between age and seniority and personal achievement, a positive moderate relation between desensitization and emotional exhaustion, an increase in low personal achievement, and an increase in emotional exhaustion. There is a low negative correlation between emotional exhaustion and emotional attachment, and emotional exhaustion is associated with decreased emotional attachment. It has been observed that there is a positive moderate relationship between emotional commitment and compulsive commitment and gratitude commitment, emotional commitment has been found to increase in obligatory commitment and gratitude. A positive moderate relationship was also found between gratitude and obligatory commitment, and it was determined that gratitude commitment increased in obligatory commitment. It is evaluated that the obtained data will be able to shed light on researchers and practitioners' studies on burnout and organizational commitment.
