In this study, The place and performance of the rebab which used in the traditional Turkish Folk Music are studied in today's THM choirs. Today's amateur and professional TFM choirs are performing within the framework of working method that started with the formation of Yurttan Sesler Choir. The features required for ensuring the integrity of the choirs (instrumental session, note discipline, accord etc.) are considered as the rules to be followed in today's choral performances. Rebab, which start to take placed in the group as of the 1950's begun to be performed within these elements too. In this study, the characteristics of Rebab have been mentioned and its performance within TFM Choirs has been tried to be explained through music scores.
