Abstract (EN)

The mysterious character of our culture, Khidr and the concepts related to him occupy a large place in the sources. Khidr is an indispensable element of folk tales, fables, legends, legends and poems. In our religious, mystical and even secular literature, he is a proposition that is frequently mentioned and mentioned in allusions, metaphors and allusions. In addition to this, works in the genre of "Hızırnâme", which centres on the parable of Moses and Khidr, have been written. Sezai Karakoç, one of the most important poets of recent Turkish poetry, has brought the character of Khidr, which is frequently repeated in classical literary and mystical sources, back to the agenda of poetry and made it the subject of literature. In our study, firstly, the place of the concept of Khidr in Islamic culture and the meaning it contains, secondly, the characteristics of the "Hızırnâme" genre and the "Hızırnâmes" in Turkish literature will be given information about. Finally, Sezai Karakoç's "Hızırla Kırk Saat" (Forty Hours with Khidr) will be discussed, its connection with our classical literature will be tried to be determined, and considerations will be made about the relationship between tradition and future, which is one of the main discussions of our literature.
