Abstract (EN)
Covid-19 outbreak in our country and starting at the end of the month of March 2019 seen at the beginning of our country active in the field of health as well as with global and local macroeconomic effect on the axis with the findings analysed in this thesis are discussed. In macroeconomic terms, it has been examined how the epidemic affects growth, inflation, unemployment, exchange rates, current account balances, and to what extent it affects these ratios. During the research, this study was carried out based on the process from the first quarter of 2020, that is, the first time the epidemic was seen, to the summer of 2021, the period when the vaccination effect of the epidemic decreased, and life gradually and controllably returned to normal. One of the most focused elements has been the macroeconomic data that our country has in this process. The Monetary Policy Board of the CBRT is also involved in the study of interest rate decisions and the impact of the exchange rate. In this process, macroeconomic data have undoubtedly deteriorated, in our country it is possible that we can say that it brings deep poverty and economic hardship. In this study, it was used in the analysis of the Covid-19 epidemic process using macroeconomic data and reports announced by official institutions such as CBRT, TUIK, BRSA, CMB and CMB.
