Leisure tourism between Turkey and Russia: a research on reasons of preferense Russian tourists Turkey as a destination

After the disintegration of the USSR, Russian federation reached more effective economy structure by establishing of free market economy. As a result of that Russian people became wealthier as time passed. This economic wealth effected the participation of Russian people positively in the international tourism. Russian people start to take vacation in foreign countries and they become an important touristic source of income with their high touristic expenses for the foreign countries. So that Russian people is became a target group for the Turkey?s tourism.The main aim of this study is to expose the tourism relationship between Turkey and Russia and determine the feeling of Russian tourists for Turkey, and find out their vacation expectations, needs and reasons of their Turkey choice for the vacation.
