Abstract (EN)

In this study, in Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine Hospital Department of Radiation Oncology it was investigated total of one hundred and twenty patients who are diagnosed Lung CA, Gastric CA, Rectal CA and brain tumors that using 3BKRT technique for the treatment plans and treatment quality whether appropriate treatment protocols recommended by the RTOG and ICRU. CT images of patients are transferred via DICOM to the Varian Eclipse treatment planning system. According to the types of cancer 3BKRT technical PTV different fractions with different doses in total doses were administered. In this study 120 3BKRT plans were examined and reference isodose volume, the target volume, the maximum dose is detected in PTV, the minimum dose is detected in PTV, reference isodose amount, PTV 's 2% of 50% and 98% dose was calculated, DVH ' s were examined. In the hospital which is worked all CI, HI and three disease groups values QC are in compliance with the RTOG . But the average value of a brain tumor QC is calculated as contrary to protocol. According to ICRU83 all HI values are calculated suitable by the protocol. Working in the clinic has established a standard for these calculations given disease groups was not possible to conclude that descended below the average of these values in the current conditions. The distribution is made according to the gender of the types of cancer studied, considering the average age; gender and age-related statistics were obtained.
