With the attegration and self-respect of internet addiction in university students investigation of the relationship

In this thesis, the relationship between internet addiction and aggression and selfesteem in the students of Haliç University in Istanbul will be examined.it is aimed to examine the relationship between variables within the framework of the aim of the research. The population of the study consisted of 1350 students aged 18-25 years studying at Haliç University in Istanbul. The sample of the study was determined with the 95% confidence interval with raosoft, which is the sample size calculation method. Accordingly, the sample of the research; Among the students with internet addiction aged 18-25 years, studying at Haliç University in Istanbul, 300 people accepted the study and met the study criteria. This study will be started with the data collection process immediately after the approval of the application and it is planned to start in October 2019 and be completed in December 2019. Young Internet Addiction Scale, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Buss-Perry Aggression Scale are used as data collection tools. A survey will be conducted with the participants who have voluntary consent to participate in the research. It takes about 15 minutes to respond to the surveys. SPSS (Statistical Package Fort he Social Sciences) 19.0 program will be used for statistical analysis of the data collected from the participants. Evaluation of psychological factors related to the findings of the study predicts both advanced studies and developments that may contribute to the practitioners. General characteristics of university students, descriptive statistics; frequency and percentage for discrete variables, mean, standard deviation, median, minimum-maximum values for continuous variables will be given. Descriptive statistics of dependent variables will be given in the evaluation of data. Apı Shapro Wilk-w 'test shall be applied to determine whether the data are suitable for normal distribution. If the distribution is normal as a result of normality test, parametric tests; independent groups t test, one way (ANOVA) test, pearson correlation correlation will be applied. If the distribution is not normal, nonparametric tests; mann-whitney u Test, kruskal wallis, spearman's order will be applied.
