Abstract (EN)

The relationship between social media use and narcissism has been the subject of research after the first social media sites emerged. Studies have shown that the use of social media can cause narcissism on the one hand and narcissism on the other hand, and the use of social media may increase with the potential mutual interaction between the two situations. Today, narcissism is promoted in social media. It has been observed that social media is an ideal environment to meet narcissistic needs and narcissistic behaviors are rewarded. The narcissistic attitudes and behaviors in the person's real life are also reflected in the behaviors on social media, and their narcissistic levels increase. As a result, as the number of active social media users increases, the interest in social media sites and nasisism increases. Although many people use social media to communicate with other users, this study also found a positive correlation between social media use and narcissism.
