Religion, society, and human in the divan of Üsküdarlı Aski

This study is on the analysis of the Divan of Üsküdarlı Aşkî, one of the 16th century Divan poets. Üsküdarlı Aşkî has a rich Divan in terms of the number of poems it contains, verse forms, language and couplets that shed light on the social life of the period. However, the studies carried out on the Divan until today have been limited to the publication of the text. This situation prompted us to make an analysis on the Aşkî Divan. The main purpose of our study is to introduce the subjects related to religion, people and society in the poet's Divan to the world of literature by interpreting their contents. One of the important goals of our study is to investigate the contributions of the feelings and thoughts about religion, mysticism, people and society, which are expressed in Aşkî's couplets, to the literary world. In our study, after giving information about the poet's life, scientific and literary personality, his works and his Divan, which we base our analysis on, the Aşkî Divan was examined in three main sections: Religion-Sufism, Society and Human, and the reflection of the poet's impressions on life and the period in which he lived on his poetry was investigated.
