The concept of seclusion in the hadits

Developing a lifestyle in accordance with Sunnah indicates a process required for Muslims in the context of the invitation and teaching task. It is easier for a Muslim to have access to Sunnah, especially in the globalized world, but groundwork and conditions can be difficult for commitment to Sunnah. It is an order of Islam to live a balanced life for both the world and the afterlife happiness. When we examine Muhammad's life, we can see it clearly. Seclusion is a phenomenon that has been happening all the time, and it has always kept its warmth in other religions, not just for the Islamic world. Some communities that adopted seclusion sometimes went beyond and assumed a solitary life in complete isolation from the society. Those who adopted complication (social relations) lived a life intertwined with society, arguing that the harms of seclusion were more. While both sides have right arguments, the main issue is to live a life in the light of Sunnah, without overdoing it, according to the needs and requirements of the age. Islam not only commands to cooperate with the society in order to fulfill religious obligations, but also tolerates being alone at some times to purify and cleanse the soul. Because people may have different characters and temperaments. Thus, as it ordered the first group to preserve their religion and join the people, it also ordered the other group that : "A believer is mild-tempered, dignified, loving and loved." Thus, a Muslim person analyzes the situation that may be beneficial for himself/herself and the ummah, and act accordingly, as a necessity for the benefit of being away from the environment of corruption and mischief. For the purpose of shedding some light on this issue, the life of Muhammad and the hadiths related to the subject are discussed. Our work consists of one part. In this work; the concept, scope, aim and method of the research are discussed. Then, the meaning and nature of the seclusion are discussed and the historical development of the seclusion is mentioned.
