Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to demonsrate the manuscript titled as "Risâle-i Fezâʾilü'l-Gâzî ve'ş-Şühedâ Fî-Tafsîl-i Beyân-i Hasâʾisi'l-Gazâ" written by Varnali Suleyman Vehbî Efendi about whom we don't have any information except that he lived in the 19th century. The manuscript is a didactic work in prose and it explains the importance of martyrdom holy war, martyr and veterans. The manuscript that we think it was scribed in the 19th century has been found in Istanbul University Rare Books Library, registered with no. T 4655. In this study, the work has been transcribed to Roman alphabet and analyzed in various ways. Key Words: holy war, veteran, martyrdom, martyr, pamphplet
