Abstract (EN)
Antimicrobial Susceptibility of Microorganisms İsolated From Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia Patients VIP is a hospital infection which has a high mortality ratio, often seen in intensive care units and occurs in patients with invasive mechanic ventilation. In this study, Firat University Hospital Intensive care unit built using the mechanical ventilator and endotrakial tube of 50 patients, diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia or aplied of lavage bronja, examined and determined by the antimicrobial susceptibility factors have been investigated. Bacterial frequency of patients with VAP; Acinetobacter baumannii 42%, Klebsiella pneumoniae 26%, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 20%, Serratia marcescens 4%, Streptococcus spp, Enterobacter spp, and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia Staphylacoccus aureus was isolated by 2%. Some antibiotic resistance profiles that can matter at clinical applications were obtained. Ceftazidime, İmipenem, Meropenem, Piperacillin-Tazobactam and Cefepime 100% resistance was observed in Acinetobacter baumannii strains Gentamicin resistance in Klebsiella pneumoniae strain 15%, Trimethoprim-Sulphamethoxazole 38% resistance respectively. The resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains to Piperacillin-Tazobactam was 90% Empirical antibiotic therapy selects according to antibiotic resistance and microbial flora of ıntensive care unit after the isolation of microorganism and determined results of antibiotic resistance, therapy should be modified narrow-spectrum antibiotics.
