Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to measure the sleep deprivation and quality of employees who work in food and berage sector, to analyze of their Daily sleep duration, to search the problems depending on sleep deprivation, to examine whether or not afecting their sllep problems to performance level, jop satisfaction and jop commitment. Also, it was investigated to what extent life standards affect to sleep quality. To create sampling of this study, it vas conducted a poll by meeting 150 people face to face in 20 different management that it carriers on a business in the Aegean Region. It was used two forms in order to collect the data that it is necessary to conduct the research. In the first part, it was used a form related with the employees some socio – demogrophic characteristics. In the second part, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Utrecht Work Engagement Scale / UWES-9 and "The Satisfactions With Life Scale"-4 questions adapted from the satisfaction with life scale (I do my jop fondly, I have a business life close to my ideals, my work conditions are ezcellent, I am satisfied with my jop) was devoloped by Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin in 1985 to determine the Life Satisfaction. In the statisticsl analysis of the datas, SPSS 25.0 program was used. Firstly, the distribution of the data was examined with respect to space of work. For this, examining from the descriptive statistic for each scale; avarage, mode, stage and skewness values, than the abtained results was supported with the box plot. In order to perform the factor analysis of construck, the validity of the scale had been tested, Kaiser – Mayer, Olkin (KMO) analysis and Berlet's sphericity test was appilied. After the determination of the construct evidence of its reability, Cronbach alpha coefficient was calculated. T.test was applied to determine whethe there is a significsnt difference between the scores or not. Also, the sleep quality of food and beverage employees was measured. How is the relationsship between the emplsyees subjective sleep quality and behavior that does the work voluntarily, job satisfaction and commitment was investigated. At the same time, the relationship between sleep deprivation and quality with behavior that does the work voluntarily, job satisfaction and job loyalty was discussed in the light of previous research based on this study.
